After a 10 years absence Cargo is reinstating its pioneering MDF concept. Music, Dance and Food is back by popular demand.

Cargo was the first venue in London to offer a complete bespoke package providing you with a complete evening of food and entertainment. Eliminating the grind of having to organize an entire evening out with our one stop shop approach.

So what is the Supper Club you ask?

It’s an experience catered to your needs. Its and event created by booking through the venue. It’s your opportunity to pioneer your own event using our Supper Club feature.

What do you get with the Supper Club?

The Supper Club is held everyday from 6pm – 9pm throughout the venue. You’ll receive a bespoke waitress service, a choice from our themed three-course meal (To keep this fresh and exciting we change the menu every month), entertainment while you dine, entry to the club after and all for only £25.

How does the Supper Club work?

It’s simple we’ve created and designed this package to reduce the stress for you and to make sure your night goes with a bang! Ideally suited to birthdays, corporate functions, leaving parties, gala dinners in fact any function for any number of guests.

To hold a reservation the space needs to be pre-booked and paid for in advance through our events manager Jana Scholtzova. From this we can determine what your requirements are; dietary, size of party, menu options, entertainment, any other needs and we will then take care of your booking leaving you with the piece of mind that your function will be ready for you and your party. All you’d need to do is arrive at Cargo and we will take care of the rest.

Chestnut and parsnip soup

Rocket Parmesan Salad and Cherry Tomatoes

Char-grilled quail marinated in thyme & chilli with crispy sage

Mains:

Char-grilled rib-eye steak 8oz with fries, salad and salsa

Rosemary thyme marinated turkey breast served with mashed potato and vegetables

Due to popular demand Cargo is proud to announce that our £5 lunch menu is back. Why not pop in for a snack or even try something off our full menu to fill your breadbaskets. Our gourmet food is now served 7 days a week from our newly refurbished kitchen and restaurant area. A perfect way to spend an evening with friends or for those business lunches, you can reserve a table to avoid disappointment by calling or email our reservations department.

Come and check out our new custom-made circular DJ booth in the restaurant. You can enjoy and meal and a drink while listening to some of the hottest new DJs in town. If you’re lucky enough to get a front row seat you’ll be able to see them in action!

With good weather on the way and a huge shipment of some of the largest TV’s I’ve ever seen ready to be installed in and around Cargo’s lush garden terrace, It can only mean one thing. The World Cup is officially upon us. Although we can’t guarantee you an England win, we can promise you one of London’s best spots for catching all the drama. For those in the know (that’s you) why not ditch the dingy overcrowd pub this year and join us here at Cargo where we will be screening all the matches in glorious High Definition. With multiple projectors and more large screen TVs per square meter than a Dixons plus our nightly BBQ serving delicious grub till the wee hours there’s no better way to soak up the evening sun and enjoy the game. After the match, whether your continuing the euphoria of a glorious win or drowning the sorrows of loose, you’ll be safe hands either way. With some of the freshest live bands and DJs playing every night in both the restaurant and main room you’ll have no excuse not to party with us.

The Kissaway Trail have had to change the date of the cargo show.

The show that was originally scheduled for 27th May will now take place on the 30th September.

Brick Lane Takeover Launches online competition, ‘Get You Jig On’.

This year to promote BLT we’ve set up ‘Get Your Jig On’, an online competition calling on all music and dance fans to submit videos of their best dance moves. Impress us and you could take home the ultimate festival package.

We don’t care whether you’re a pro or a beginner, we want to see your dance moves and there’s a category for everyone – ‘Fancy Footwork’, ‘Dad Dancing’ and ‘I Can’t Dance But I’m Doing It For Charity’ (details on each dance category attached).

Video clips only need to be between 10-30 seconds long. Anything goes really and it’s as easy as filming it in your bedroom, in a studio or in a club. Use a mobile phone, digital camera or handheld camera to record your dance moves and then share with us.

Once you have submitted your footage you’ll be in with a chance of winning tickets to Bestival, camping gear and exclusive VIP after-show party tickets to Brick Lane Takeover plus more!

The three finalists, one from each category, will be invited to a judged dance-off at the event where the winner will take home the ultimate VIP festival package for themselves and a mate. There will also be runners up prizes for the two finalists.
