Inspired by early sound clashes of Jamaican reggae and dancehall parties where DJ's would drop their latest version of a 'Riddim' one after the other looking for the crowds recognition.
The Battle:
2 Producers share the stage, each at their own station and PLAY 3 beats one after the other for 1 min each. A winner is chosen through the crowd reaction who moves on to the next round. Once a producer wins all their heats they win a CASH PRIZE of £500, a the DBS PLATINUM PLAQUE and a place in the GRAND FINAL where the winner will get the chance to work with and produce a track for an A-list artist.
