This was initially a fun for funs sake 1 off Tues for Pancake day called "Flippin' it" the idea was LOADS of DJs coming down for a laugh, playing their 5 fave tunes + stuffing our faces with lots of pancakes! (Flippin' Djs and Flippin' pancakes) There were no fees as its just a bit of fun.. so a night off for everyone to just have a laugh and play, have a chat, few drinks and just relax WIIINSTON!

Anyway - It turned out to be rather a lot of fun INDEED! Despite the fact there was torrential rain ALL day a whole gaggle of you attended.. Lots of new friendships were made, existing ones cemented, wine was drunk, pancakes were eaten, sides were split, dancing incurred, photos were taken, bums were bared and amazing tracks were played! The night kicked off with Jon Carter playing and ended at 1am with people shouting “ONE MORE!! ONE MORE!!” they eventually had to bang a massive gong and chase us with lit sparklers round the room get us to leave the venue.. (No. Really) On a Tues for god's sake!! utterly brilliant!

So as we had such a laugh everyone has asked for it to be a regular occurrence and I couldn't agree more to be frank! We have also all agreed on the brilliant idea (cheers Krista!) of doing a different FOOD every month.. This month rather than pancakes “it” will be HOTDOGS!! With this in mind this next event will be on Tues 23rd March and will be called “Doggin' it”.. (no jokes about carparks!) The theme stays the same – LOADS of DJs taking the night off and leaving their egos at the door - playing their top 5 records (could be ABBA could be Green velvet!) then on to the next, us lot stuffing our faces, dancing, gossiping and getting drunk.. We have a few ideas for the coming months too.. “Wingin' it” (jerk chicken), “Chillin' it” (Chilli or spicy tings!).. Trust me, the cup runneth over with tasty ideas!! LOL

Just a quick Oscar style thanks to the DJs who played ever so nicely last time! (and to all of you wonderful lot that came down and enjoyed yourselves.. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)
