It's rare that a band can truly be described as unique and genre- bending, and yet Dorp truly defy categorisation and transcends today's music fans expectations of what music can be about. Combining melodies, pop sensibilities, lashings of electronica, lyrical satire and sheer rock power, and espite only settling in the UK's capital a few short years ago (the band's inception was in frontmanPietBez's native South Africa), the quartet have already developed into a startling proposition. And the fruits of their labour can be witnessed on their debut album, ‘Humans Being'.

 

Singing drummer/guitarist/composer Brian Hedemann brings his BeatTree ensemble to Cargo, featuring explosive collaborative performances fromsome of the most accomplished players on London's vibrant music scene.BeatTree's cutting edge sound incorporates, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Drum& Bass,Indie, Rock Electronica with eastern influences. Hedemann meticulously crafts his songs to make them notably original and combines a warm commercially- distinct richness, mystical lyrics with evocative melodies.

 

The Blues has many different interpretations, Mad Dog use as many of these as possible to produce a huge sound that you will not find anywhere else.
