You read right! We've added Boy George to our DTPM Eastbender on Sunday 31st October at Cargo.
Boy George is no stranger to DTPM having played a number of legendary retro sets over the years. This time around he'll be showing us his take on ‘Up Front house', and we can't wait. Having recently checked him out at one of his London gigs we've worked tirelessly in trying to secure him and today we have! Also joining us is Mr King. He's a newbie to DTPM and we're looking forward to hearing his unique mix of disco & house on the heated terrace alongside Miguel Pellitero, Fat Tony and Dave Kendrick from Shoreditch's Macho City! All this great talent alongside DTPM stalwarts Steve Thomas, Nick Tcherniak, Guy Williams and the House Husbands giving you even more reason to get those tickets now. This time we're dropping our anchor in the epicenter of London's East End - Shoreditch! This time we've secured ‘Cargo', undoubtedly one of the coolest venues in the area. It's got two rooms to accommodate you and the DT sound, plus a massive heated terrace. DTPM's Eastbender will fall on Sunday 31st October which coincides with a number of things. The 1st being Halloween, the 2nd being the official end to summer (clocks will have gone back) and finally we'll be following on from our big sister Trade's 20th Birthday - just like the good old days, only without the infamous buffet and flying lettuce! We'll be opening our doors at 1pm and will rock thru to 10.30pm. The soundtrack will be supplied by a feast of favorites, both long serving DT residents and some East End darlings!
