MEAT CIRCUS is Five Four's second show this year. He's back he says, "doing everything you can do with paint except actually paint" Inspired by sloganism, signage, toilet graffiti and media sound bite five four regurgitates all in spectacular luminosity. In "MEAT CIRCUS" he continues to push his multi-coloured pollockesque text form to new levels, playing with scale through small intense impasto canvases, giant printed imagery and light box. Five four's work is a comment on our times, opening the discussion about the way society plays with visuals codes.
