Deadly likes a party and in the past year have invited Justice, 2manydjs, Hot Chip, Florence & The Machine, Armand Van Helden, Simian Mobile Disco, The Mighty Boosh, A Trak, Ed Banger and a load of others to join them on their mission to generally cause complete havoc.
For one special night they're bringing their label roster and friends to Cargo including one of the hottest new bands in the UK, O.Children, krautrockers Subway, Kitsune's tech-house wunderkind Joe & WIll Ask.
Why O. Children aren't a household name by now is anyone's guess. They play rock with an edge; a very sharp edge that makes O. Children one of the most exciting bands in the UK right now. Their live shows are a thrill-a-minute rollercoaster ride. We can't recommend watching this band enough.
Subway released their terrific sophomore album a few months back via Soul Jazz Records. Subway II finds the London-based duo of Michael Kirkman and Alan James further exploring their vision of "post-dance" music, drawing on influences from the worlds of 70s krautrock, Detroit techno and European disco.
Joe & Will Ask? are quickly becoming the producer duo a la mode thanks to their remixes for La Roux and the Mystery Jets as well as their own releases on Kitsune records. Expect electro of the highest caliber.
