Last.fm Presents returns to Cargo on the 14th August to host the first of our ‘Free Fridays' with some of the hottest talent picked direct from the Last.fm hype chart.

 

We're pretty excited to announce we've secured Fink, Ninja Tune's finest purveyor of Folktronica who recently released his 3rd LP ‘Sort Of Revolution' to critical acclaim. Joining him will be bandmates Guy Whittaker on bass and Tim Thornton on drums. Fink will be playing the headline set at 10:00pm and we suggest you arrive early to avoid disappointment.

 

In support we've flown in live Berlin's Jazzsteppa' who've been captivating audiences worldwide with their live blend of Dubstep, Jazz and Electronica. Having made their name on some of the coolest underground labels around such as Hot Flush, MG77 they've finally unleashed their debut LP this year on ‘Studio Rockers'.. you won't be disappointed!

 

Next up we have the UK's leading all girl lo-fi trio - PENS - who we've managed to get on the bill just before they head off to tour the states. With debut album ‘Hey friend, what you doing?' due on the uber cool De Stijl records this September and with fans ranging from the likes of Kill Rock Stars, VICE magazine & lo-fi revivalist Wavves this is guaranteed all killer no filler!

 

On call to generate vibes for the night we have the one and only Black Cab Sessions DJs, playing all their favourite hits, rarities and beyond, + the ever reliable Last.fm DJ Team.
