Don't Wait Animate:
BBC 6 Steve Lamacq's band of the week, Don't Wait Animate will be releasing their EP, at this very special night. Formed in 2008, DWA are a five piece experimental band from London and Coventry, England. DWA interpret our unique cultural moment through an eerie kaleidoscope of sound and anxious lyricism. DAZED & CONFUSED - "Pioneers who fuse indie as they perform live to create a genre all their own."
Goldtrip:
Formed while at Bristol University, Goldtrip initially took their sound from the bedroom to clubs in Bristol @ Thekla, Start The Bus, Mr Wolfs, FUZE (as part of Bristol Fashion week), supporting Maverick Sabre at the Den, and most recently a Stadium gig supporting Bon Jovi at Bristol Ashton Gate. “Burn To Fade” from their debut EP is featured in the new HTC mobile phone ad campaign. They also "filmed 5 tracks for the BBC, one of them in 3D. Their demos were randomly picked up and voted into the top 10 by Chinese NME parallel, X Music Magazine.
Fever Dream:
Beautiful dreamy guitar noise pop from London three piece Fever Dream who are to release their single "This Waste" via Underused Records this February.
