HOODLUMS are 5 piece band from Deptford in south London and Southend.
Front man Lou Vaingloriuous met double bassist Nick Pini after months of trawling myspace trying to find a double-bassist to create a new sound, the two bonded instantly. With Nick's ear for arrangement and Lou's songs, Hoodlums were born... Soon after old musical jamming buddies Henry 'two toms' Tyler (Drums) and Tino Kolarides (Guitar) joined the band. With the addition of keys player Oli Wennink the band was complete.
They released a single on NUDE records (SUEDE's old label) called 'Beat Bop' last year to great critical aclaim but not settling for just that they shut them selves away to work on refining a new sound and to get it right.
