JMC grew up on the tough streets of Hackney and it was not long before he was exposed to the raw elements of his neighbourhood. At the tender age of 21 he was stabbed almost fatally and it was at that point that he knew he would not be a victim or product of his environment, but become something for himself, his area and the UK. JMC always had dreams of making music in the US with his UK flavour, as he wanted to bring something new and fresh at the same time offering the US a chance to see our UK style. However he was always told by interested majors that this was impossible. So he chose not to take the commercial way out and stay true to the music in his heart. The result was major resulting in collaboration with the likes of 112, ATL, Cassidy,Remy Ma of Terra Squad, Lox (D-Block), Sheek Louch, Styles P and a list of others which he keeps locked up in his Vault music company.
