After a run of off the wall parties at Cargo over the summer, Modular are back for their last little slice of penny pinching heaven. It all drops on Saturday, November 28, the drinks will be cheap and the tunes will be plentiful so come and party like a pauper!

If there is one band we've waiting to have at cargo in 2009, that's Django Django. We first heard of them at the start of the year when their song Storm made the rounds on the music blogs and we were instantly hooked. 3 more tracks have since made their way to the band's myspace, all different, all brilliant, and all displaying the band's unmistakable sound. If in a parallel dimension the Beach Boys did the soundtrack to 1001 nights, they would have sounded like Django Django. Put this one down on your calendar. Seriously.

Disco. Synth. Pop. Are there any more genres that fit together better? Actually ‘Synth' might not be a recognised genre as such but Fenech Soler utilise all three disciplines to create heavenly songs for dancing the night away.

My Tiger My Timing's tunes exude happiness and good taste in spades: "My Tiger My Timing slowly mess with expectations, tinkering with the trappings of 21st century post-punk and altering bits of their sound here and there with such a deft hand that it's barely noticeable. But it makes all the difference" - Drowned In Sound

Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve's Richard Norris is a bit of a music institution. He  was the first music journalist to write about the Balearic scene in the UK music press, when NME ran his article on Ibiza in the late eighties. He has shown off his music knowledge in Ibiza at Manumission, Space, the Underground, Manumission Motel and the Rock Bar plus featured as panellist at 2008 and 2009's Ibiza International Music Conference, regularly DJs around Europe, and records with Erol Alkan as Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve, and as a solo artist as The Time and Space Machine (Tirk Records). Casi nada.

You already know Annie as the Bergen born pop sensation that we've all learnt to love. Her songs, which she describes as "pop with strange edges" exude a unique sensibility but are aimed squarely to the dacnce-floor.   What you may not know is that she's also a damn good dj, so good in fact that she has the rare honour of curating a Dj Kicks mix compilation, an accolade reserved for the very best.
