Joining us is man of the moment Matias Aguayo. He has long been one of the jewels in Kompakt's crown with his solo work and releases with Broke and Closer Musik. 2008 has definitely been his year with the launch of his Comeme label (responsible for one of the EPs - and videos of the year in Rebolledo's Guerrero) and the recent releases of his second solo album 'Ay Ay Ay'. An utterly unique mixture of house, electronica, world music and the franky indescribable it is a key long player for 2009 and is likely to feature high in many end of year lists - especially ours. His live set is a loopy joy to behold and ideally suited to the party season.

 

Also from the Kompakt stable is our other guest Shumi. A mainstay on the Kompakt scene - this year he entered the production ring with his Jump For Joy EP on Kompakt. We played with Shumi at his legendary Gruezi club and confirm as a dj he is the real deal. We're really excited about showing him off to the London crowd.
