Macmillan's Brick Lane Takeover
Macmillan’s first ever large scale music event hit the streets of East London last summer, with over 40 bands and DJs performing at venues across the buzzing Brick Lane area. Noel Fielding showcased his new DJ act, Frank Turner packed out 93 Feet East and Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip kept the party going till the early hours at Cargo. This year the event is back and Macmillan are hoping to raise £40,000 for the charity.
Macmillan wants to attract 2,000 people to attend on 17 June and to establish the BLT as one of the best new urban music festivals in the UK.
Once again Macmillan will be taking over some of the best live music venues in Shoreditch including Cargo, Vibe, 93 Feet East, The Brickhouse, Café 1001 and Spitalfields Market. One wristband will give access to all the venues to see an incredible line up of bands and DJs.
