Beyond language barriers, socio-political conjunctures and aesthetic disquisitions, MANEL are, quite simply, what pop fans were waiting for. In less than eighteen months, Barcelona’s favourite new quartet has not only placed their debut in almost every “Best Records Of The Year” top, but has become the busiest live band all along 2009.

With “Els Millors Professors Eruopeus” certified as the biggest seller for a record singed in Catalan language after the Joan Manuel Serrat ones, MANEL feel comfortable making history. After their live debut in the Primavera Club ’08, began a tour that led them to share stage with The Divine Comedy (Faraday '09), to be added to last The Great Escape festival line up (UK) and to see how their fans grow exponentially no matter small clubs or big venues. As the audience of their massive soul-out gig at the Apolo (Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Barcelona) would say, if pop music needs a miracle, here it is.
