Global Local are back in Cargo, bringing us Movimientos for a night showcasing some of the freshest alternative latin and roots live acts around. Movimientos are an organisation devoted to the promotion of Latin music culture through musical events and documentary film, and they employ a formidable soundsystem that matches their devotion, playing anything from urban beats to cumbia to tropical mashups. Just have a look at the list of musical genres on the flyer to the left – doesn't that make you want to get up from your computer chair?
