On Thursday 19th August Nicky Fatback will be taking over the garden 

for his annual (starting from this year) Bronx BBQ & Cookout party. 

He's not from the Bronx, but he has seen some 80s films so is basing a 

lot of it on those. He'll be serving up old skool treats for you 

outside from 6pm - 9pm, then we'll move it inside till morning time. 

We're gonna hang in the sunshine and drink and eat burgers and dance 

on the tables and holla at beats and touch the sky and talk street jive.

 

One the menu: B-More, Hip-Hop, Crunk, P-Funk, Miami Bass, Gravy.

 

Don't be late. After the Bronx smackdown the breaks will carry on 

inside.

 

It's free to get in, which is a really good price for this time of year.

 

See you in the Bronx (Shoreditch). 6pm. Thursday 19 August.

 

Also, for those of you who are concerned about local issues, there 

will be a Shoreditch Residents Association Meeting from 8pm in the
