So, we've done dirty warehouse parties in Dalston with Nadia Ksaiba, Drums of Death and Tomb Crew to booty bouncing Sunday rave sessions with Mumdance and Afrikan Boy, now we bring you The Ragga Twins and Zombie Disco Squad @ Cargo. Oh Yes We Did!!!

Peanut Butter Jelly Time takes over Cargo on the 1st of August to thrown the sickest party of the summer, The AMAZING Ragga Twins will be on stage with their dj bringing you MC Heaven. The Ragga Twins are a jungle group from Hackney, England, composed of London UNITY sound system veteran. MCs Deman Rockers and Flinty. Socialist Worker referred to them as "one of the most influential acts to emerge from the rave scene". The Ragga Twins are the link between UK dancehall reggae, jungle and hip-hop.

Zombie Disco Squad are one of the pioneers of the so-called  Zulu house sound. Melding fidget with baile, bmore, hip-hop and African tribal funk, the ZDS boys push a relentless, mind-destroying brand of house music that oscillates wildly between clipped hip-hop samples, quirky synth stabs and pounding house beats. They're just about to drop their new double A-side 'Esperanto'/'Eurovision' on Jesse Rose's own Made To Play.

We also have the lovely Naomi// on the decks from the Fantaboulous Girlcore, Who are famous for their kick ass East London Parties.

Niyi - Shy and softly spoken, he isn't your typical rapper. After dropping out of Central Saint Martin's (twice), he started the seminal club Gauche Chic which The Sunday Times said kick started the "New Rave" dressing up craze. Now the host to one of the most exciting parties south of the River:  Toys Are Us and a firm favorite on the European Club Scene we are very excited to be inviting Niyi back!

Also on stage will be Swanzy, Margreezy, and Bishara repping for the UK with a sound they designate as a mix of "old skool garage, grime, hip-hop" with a "splash of indie, rock, pop, trance, funk". As the Rope Chain $piller Kidz, they rock a style akin to Run DMC meets Gossip Girl (with a dash of neon) with influences like Salt 'N Pepa, Queen Latifah, TLC, Naughty By Nature and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, it's not about gimmicks as much as taking it back to a time when hip-hop was more fun.

As always PBJT hosts Birthday Girl and Captain Magic will be playing some jolly good music with the Boston Crab (Greco-Roman) and there favourite collective  Waste Radio's Nina Ribena will be spinning too...
