Emerging singer, MC and lyricist SARAH SAYEED is a raw artist with quick fire MC skills and a soul inspired singing voice. She was first recognised by the industry when her music was featured on the Homegrown podcast presented by Ras Kwame on BBC 1Xtra and when BBC Radio 1 DJ, Bobby Friction described her "as a 360° conscious artist".

 

Having toured the UK, Europe and the US over the last five years and spent time in the studio working with unique producers from London, Manchester, San Francisco and Toronto, SARAH SAYEED has arrived at Cargo to launch her new single Black IS... from her forthcoming debut album.

 

Tonight the audience will experience SARAH SAYEED dropping sounds and vocals that will set the stage for the next era of female Hip Hop artists coming out of the UK. She will be accompanied by a live band creating a night not to be missed. Support will be given by one of UK's top DJs - Excalibah.
