Last.fm/Presents have hooked up with Rock-A-Rolla magazine to program a night of the most exciting avant-rock that features highly on Last.fm's hype chart. First up we have the legendary Secret Chiefs 3 making their first ever UK appearance, headed up by the legendary Trey Spruance (Ex Faith No More / Mr Bungle), all 8 Chiefs will hitting our shores to bring their unique mix of surf rock, Persian death metal and eastern influenced ‘vibes'.

Next up we have Zu, Italy's finest, who are taking time out working with Mike Patton on their upcoming album to fly over to show us why we should all listen to a bit more avant-jazz-rock!

Skullflower, matthew bowers main project since 1988, carving flesh into roses and air into black granite using guitars as source material. Joined by Lee Stokoe (Culver, Marzuraan) on guitar, he and Bower sound like they venerate the same saints and worship in the same ruined churches. This might even be the best Skullflower line-up to date, the music completely loose from moorings and cloaked in ragged scarlet and black.
