SHADOWS OF THE SPACE

Within the informal atmosphere of Cargo Polish deConstruction will hold another artistic event...

This time it will be a discussion with artists: Justyna Chudinska and Karolina Raczynski about the inspiring properties of landscape and the ways of adding new dimensions to the illusionistic space of a painting and a photograph. Justyna, as an absolvent of Cracow Academy of Fine Arts creates paintings, which exquisite style is a conspiracy between abstraction and realism. Karolina, on the other hand, a student of Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, adopts double exposure to make each of her photographs flaunt its half-real, half-familiar place. Contrasting visions of two domains, painting and photography promise new exciting views on the long-established genre.
