This December's Soundcrash is a festive treat of epic proportions, with very little to do with Christmas but a lot to do with the music we love, and have endeavoured to bring you in the past 12 months. Think of it as a phonic round-up of Soundcrash 2008!

The hottest act on Mike Paradinas's imprint Planet Mu, VIRUS SYNDICATE are going to come and knock your socks off. And mine. And any other soul who's lucky enough to be in the vicinity. After being set to follow Dizze and Whiley to mainstream success, shunning it in favour of musical integrity, they now have a live show unmatched to date. This is the future of live electronic a, dubstep and hip-hop.

Japan has Dj Krush, America has Dj Shadow in the UK we have grandmaster DJ VADIM. Back to form after a frightening recent cancer op, Vadders is back to his rightful place at the top of the Soundcrash line-ups. One of our most revered and talented hip hop and electronic music producers over the last 12 years in addition to the ability to tear up a dancefloor like very few others, Vadim deserves your respect!

Kicking off the proceedings are our very own Penecillin, described as 'the musical equivalent of swimming through concrete' but today debuting a new direction in psychedelic-dubstep-metal-electronica, it's as interesting as it sounds so get there early!

Ninja Tuners and Soundcrash favourites Pest are a live experience unto themselves, creating spectacular audio soundscapes with highly danceable beats, the fact that we book them again and again should be proof enough of their prowess and wickedness!

Anchorsong is the solo project of Masaaki Yoshida. Hip-Hop inspired electronic dance music, created live on stage before your eyes, expect to be simultaneously transported to a phonic-dreamworld of dramatic pop while an unseen force makes your booty shake.

And tying the whole affair together with a smoothness like flora-buttery will be Bobba Fatt on the decks, spinning the best records he can find in his Mary Poppins style bag of tricks.

Come and have a sherry and a shake!

LIVE: VIRUS SYNDICATE + PEST (NINJA TUNE) + ANCHORSONG + PENCILLIN

DJS: DJ VADIM + BOBA FATT
