For the lovingest day of the year we thought where better to source some of the darkest musical talents than the home of romance itself? We mounted our virtual flying-carpet and scanned the hills and valleys of France to bring you the heaviest, most electronic version of the 'love song' that we could find, and came back with a veritable buffet des festins complimented perfectly by a sprinkling of British flavour.


And who better to add some British spice than The Herbaliser? After more than a decade and a half of blinding records, live performances and DJ sets around the world, Ollie and Jake are bringing their much-lauded record bags to Cargo for tonight's shenanigans.

 

Warming up the decks for them will be Parisians DJ Missill and DJ Kazey, a pair of electro-break dynamos with smooth mixes and contagious energies and a warranty for wickedness, while funk-hop-tronica Gentlemen Left Step Band and beautifully-dark Yimono play live.
