A launch party to celebrate the release of the Part-Time Heroes debut album, "Meanwhile...", released on September 1st. The album features several guest vocalists including Liane Carroll, Laura Vane, Pete Simpson, Bridgette Amofah and Jono McCleery, and has already garnered much support from Gilles Peterson et al. Support comes from rising UK talent, Stac, who recently released her first single "Balls Bounce" (featuring a remix by Bonobo) to rave reviews!"
The Part-Time Heroes are two young musicians currently residing between them in the leafy suburbs of Southampton, and a very fashionable part of North London. Although their names are not known to the masses, their music soon will be, as this part-time shop assistant and part-time sandwich deliveryman, plan to convert their part-time music careers into full-time employment. Their PTH Projects alias has allowed them to release more dance floor orientated cuts and remixes on Wah Wah 45s, but now they're ready to unleash the debut Part Time Heroes album on the label too!
Copies of the Part-Time Heroes album will be available for sale on the night.

STAC
Having been thrown out of school at the age of 14 for setting fire to her music teacher (he didn't meet her unusually high standards) the artist formerly known as Stacey Dowdeswell somehow managed to wangle a scholarship to the infamous Brit School (an institution that has so far managed to churn out the likes of Winehouse, Nash and Woon) and her path in life, it seemed, was set. After graduating, Stac garnered gainful employment in none other than Wah Wah 45s favourite distributors (and possibly the only company of its kind left in the UK at the time of going to press) Kudos Records. It was here that she first came to the attention of Messrs Servini and Goss, and after leaving Kudos and enjoying a spate living the drug induced life of a music television producer, things really started to happen for this young lady. A chance meeting in a kebab shop in Leeds with musical genius Prod led to a fruitful partnership and the creation of such underground hits as "Balls Bounce", "Tip" and (who could forget) the deceptively entitled "Sure Aint Good".
